Journey Outline
Pick Up from Bagdora Airport to Phuentsholing. Check in at Hotel Sheetal. Evening Free for Self-Activity.
After breakfast, proceed for the Permit and Then Drive to Thimphu. On the Way Vis 8 Type of Stupa and Waterfall After Crossing Chukha. Evening Check-in at the Hotel and Overnight Stay, Evening Free for Self-Activity.
After Breakfast Commence for Thimphu Sightseeing Covering – Motithang Takin Preservation Centre, Drupthob Goemba / Zilukha Nunnery, Nationa Library (Closed on Saturday , Sunday & National Holiday), Memoria Chorten,Tashichho Dzong, Buddha Point (Kuensel Phodong),changangkha Lhakhang (Monastery), Institute for Zorig Chusum (Traditional Art & Craft School-closed on Saturday , Sunday, National Holiday & During Summer & Winter Vacations), Textiles Museum (Handicrafts Shops – Closed on Saturday, Sunday & National Holiday), Zangthopelri Lhakhang (Monastery). Evening Overnight at the Hotel.
After Breakfast, Drive to Wangdi. Experience a Magnificent and Scenic View of the Mountains of Bhutan While Driving Over Dochu La Pass. After reaching Punakha, go for Sightseeing to Punakha Dzong, Chimi Lhakhang (Monastery), suspension Bridge, and overnight at the hotel.
After Breakfast, Transfer to Paro. On the Way, visit the Royal Botanic Garden, Tachogang Lhakhang. After Lunch, visit Taa Dzong and Ringphung Dzong. Check in at the Hotel and Overnight Stay. Evening Free for Self-Activity.
After an Early Breakfast, Hike to Taktsang Lhakhang (Tiger Nest Monastery). It is an Uphill Hike, Carving Through Pine Tree Forest, Taking About 2 to 3 hours one way. It is Believed That Padmasambhava (Guru Rinpoche) Flew to This Location From Tibet on the Back of a Tigress From Khenpajong. This place was consecrated to Tame the Tiger Demon.
After Breakfast, embark on an Interesting Journey Back to Phuentsholing en Route visiting Kharbandigompa, the beautiful Monastery Founded in 1967 by Royal Grandmother, Ashiphuntshochoedron. Here, You Can See the Statues of Shabdrung Ngawang Namgyal and Guru Rimpoche paintings portraying Scenes from the Life of Lord Buddha. The Monastery Garden Provides Great Views of the Phuentsholing Town and the Surrounding Plains of West Bengal.
After Breakfast, Transfer to NIP Railway Station/ Bagdogra Airport(IXB) for Departure. Tip: Clicking Pictures is Not Allowed Inside the Monastery, Temple, Dzong, and Chorten. So, Make Sure You Hold Back the Photographer in You.
